Milongas Archive - Milonga da Bica

Created in February of 2011, milonga da Bica is a monthly milonga, and it happens in one of the most emblematic neighbourhoods of Lisbon’s nightlife:
the Bica neighbourhood (bairro da Bica).

Going down the famous street of the Bica Funicular (elevador da Bica), in the number 42 we find the café-bar Bicaense, an old kind of chop-house transformed that still keeps its characteristic’s tall stools and marble counter, combining them with its vintage deco. A “must go” place in the cultural guide tour of the city and the “headquarter” of this area, with its extremely diverse clients,
is one of the favourite spots for artist, journalist and other known faces.

In the inside room of the place, in a relaxed environment, at the sound of traditional tangos and with tango videos projections, this free milonga happens
on the third Thursday of each month, from 10 p.m. until 2 a.m...
